EXCEL wanting teh CD

OK, I have a user that is driving me nuts. Every once in awhile, she opens
EXCEL and it starts running trhough teh process of wanting to install
something. She lets it do it's thing, then it tells her it can't find the
right disk. She hits cancel and Excel open just fine.

Last night I uninstalled office and Access. Then Reinstalled. I
installed it over the network so anytime it wants somethign, it should get
it off teh network install location.

But NOOOOOOOOOO, it doesn't, it still wants a CD.

Is there anyway to find out what the hell it is looking for??

Assuming when doing the install, you checked the "run from my computer"
option, maybe try re-registering Excel.

Close Excel first and
On the Windows Taskbar

1) Start>Run "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)>OK.
2) Start>Run "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)>OK.
See the space between exe and /regserver

You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe.
In that case Start>Run "C:\yourpath\excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)>OK.
