This seems to happen lately when I save an excel file locally. While on server, it's fine.
I recently had a co-worker try to work on a file that I had inadvertently left open. I closed it, and as she had read only permissions, it wouldn't let her save it. She saved it to her desktop so she wouldn't lose her changes and then overwrote the file on the server.
It is now corrupt and I've lost a day's work. Our IT department tried to recover it, and all formatting was lost.
I am running OSX10.5.4, Excel 2004 v.11.5. My co-worker is running OSX 10.4.11, same version of Excel. This is a recurring problem, and I really need to address it!
Any help, greatly appreciated!
