Excel Workbook Always expands behind Dock!!!

S

Scott Melendez

Every time I open Excel even with previously saved documents the
workbook expands to the bottom on the screen, behind the Dock. Since I have
a number of items on my Dock, this becomes a problem I either have to
temporarily hide the Dock and re-size the workbook, or move it around until
I can ³grab² it and re-size it.

I haven¹t found any setting to prevent Excel from doing this. I¹m a fairly
new Mac user, so can anyone shed any light or has anyone been having the
same problems?

Configuration:
Office v.X 10.1.5
Jaguar 10.3.1
PowerBook G4 17
2 Gb RAM
80 Gb HD

Try going to the window menu and selecting arrange (even though there is
only 1 window)Select tiled and click OK. Then close the workbook and save it
when asked. It should now reopen above the dock.
