When in a current workbook and moving between tabs, excel opens a new workbook with the tab content that I have clicked from. Action to date is to delete this new workbook. This has been occurring 20 plus times in the one session! How do I turn this feature / function off? It has only started to occur today 24 March 2008 (Australia) after I did an update on Office 2008 & Excel. Is it a problem with the new update? Can it be resolved?

Are you saying that when you click on a workbook tab, Excel creates a new
workbook with that worksheet? If so, this is highly unusual, and not likely
due to the update. I've never seen this. Are you right clicking on the tab?
Is it a new workbook, or a new window?
