Is there a forum for general Excel questions? I want to know why there are
blank lines after the 1300 lines I imported? I want the spreadsheet to just
cut off at , lets say, 1310 lines. How would that be accomplished?

I would also like the just have cells A thru H and no cells to the right of
that. How can that be done?

Perhaps microsoft.public.excel.newusers is the newsgroup you seek.

If you use a news reader such as Outlook Express and add
msnews.microsoft.com as a News account, you should find these newsgroups
more usable.
