excel worksheet colors

hi there....

i want to change my excel worksheet to a different (not white) color ... and
i want this color to be the default

i realized that i could do this by right-clicking on my desktop, going to
properties, then appearance, then changing the item "window" to a different
color...

the problem... all my window in win98 change to that color to ... i want
them all white , and the excel sheet blue

any ideas ???

Set up a workbook with a single sheet formatted as required.
Do File/SaveAs and save as a template called "Sheet.xlt" in your Excel
startup folder.
