Excel worksheet control caption unexpectedly grows

I have several activex command buttons on an Excel 2007 worksheet. After
pressing the buttons several times to run a macro, the caption text
unexpectedly expands. The only way to rectify the problem is to go into
design view and resize the control.

Any Thoughts?
