I imported an excel table into MS Word 2002 -- it opened a dialog box saying
Excel Worksheet Text Converter would need to convert the table. All went
fine. On my personal computer, I have MS Word 2003. Tried to open a similar
excel file, it brought up the "file conversion" dialog box with "Windows
Default", MS-DOS or Other Encoding as the choices. None of which worked. Got
page after page of gobbledy-gook.
I tried searching the installation for additional text converter to
install, but it's not there. Is this feature just not in MS Word 2003? This
is for label printing, which doesn't handle the excel cells correctly as far
as formatting, but when converted to a Word table, it does fine. Is there a
workaround?
