Excel X won't print specific sheet

I can't figure this out:

I have a small workbook with three sheets: Sheet 1 previews and prints fine,
either Portrait or Landscape. Sheet 3 is blank.

Sheet 2 won't print anything at all. It has 8 columns and 55 rows filled and
fits on one screen. I have tried 'print all' without altering other
settings. I have tried 'print active sheet'. I have set the print area. I
have tried landscape and portrait modes.

Nothing prints, a page just goes straight through the printer. Preview is
completely blank too.
I'm using iMac G4/700, OSX 10.2.8 and Excel for Mac X 2001.

I've no idea what's going on, unless you have some event macro(s) firing
before printing.

What happens if you copy the contents of Sheet2 to a new sheet?
