I have trained myself to use Excel but I'm having trouble
with revised a spreadsheet that was created by someone
else (probably someone who knew what they were doing!).
Within a cell, I need to add a line or lines between text.

Example:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxx

xxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx

xxxxxxxxxxxx

try hitting ALT+ENTER to create a linebreak within a cell

You can do this by a trick to make the screen and the printout think there
is a space between lines by simply putting in X's or any other character to
acomodate the spacing you want, then just changing the Font color of them to
white........they'll still be there and provide the spacing you need, but
they won't show up.............
