I have a spreadsheet with 1600 rows of information. I am
trying to cut and past information from another
spreadsheet into it. The cut and past function works
great, but after I save it and reopen the spreadsheet,
the entries I cut and pasted are not there. Any ideas?

If you're actually saving the workbook successfully, then my next guess is
you're opening a different workbook (probably has the same name, but located in
a different folder or even on a different drive???).

find an empty cell and type this in it:

=cell("filename",a1)

note what was returned save your file. close it.

If it the changes weren't save, find another empty cell and put that formula in
it again.

Did they point at the same spot? (I hope not or my theory is messed up.)
