Hello,

If I have a long list of words in excel in one column, and all of the first letters in these words are both capitalized and uncapitalzed, is there a way to quickly make all of the first letters uncapitalized, rather than doing it manually? Thanks!

See if the PROPER() function won't suit your requirement.

BTW - you've posted as a *reply* to a previous message on an unrelated
topic. You're more likely to get timely & meaningful responses if you post

Simply an error on my part, I must have not selected to start a new thread.

The PROPER function was actually not what I needed, it was LOWER...to switch everything to lower case as noted. Thanks.
