Why when I type (C) in an excel cell, it gives me the 'C' with a circle around it? Its like the trademark symbol.

Thanks!

It's the copyright symbol, and Autocorrect is converting it. You can:

1) Type CMD-z after each conversion to undo the autocorrect

2) Uncheck the Replace text as you type in the Tools/AutoCorrect
dialog box. This will prevent any autocorrects in XL.

3) Delete the (c) entry in the Tools/Autocorrect dialog list. This
will eliminate that entry in all OTHER Office apps (after they're
closed).

Thanks SO much! I knew it was something simple like that, but forgot!
