Since accepting recent XP Professional updates, my Microsoft Office EXCEL
will not start. I get an error window stating that Windows XP is trying to
find Front Page.

Trying to update again, Service Pack 3 won't install - and the same error
message appears.

Has anyone else experienced this - and what is the solution please?
(Incidentally, Office came with the machine, so I haven't got a disc to
reinstall from)

This may or may not work. Create the following directories.

C:\Program Files\microsoft frontpage
C:\Program Files\microsoft frontpage\version3.0
C:\Program Files\microsoft frontpage\version3.0\bin

The last of these should have nothing in it. Now try launching Excel.

Whether or not this works, don't ask application-specific questions in
this newsgroup. Ask Excel-specific questions like this in
microsoft.public.excel or microsoft.public.excel.misc.
