Excel2000 x-axis interval in line graph

Dave

Hi,
How do I change the X-axis interval in a line graph? For
example:
I have the number set: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, and 8 for my X-
axis. By default, Excel makes the interval for 0 and 0.5
the same as the interval for 4 and 8. I am wondering if
it's possible to make the interval consistent.
Thanks!

Use an XY (Scatter) chart type instead of the Line chart type.

For either type, you can format the series to show or not show markers or
lines connecting markers.

The XY type has a numerical axis for both X and Y; the Line type has a
numerical axis for Y and an equally-spaced category axis for X.
