Excell 2007 will not open XLSX

Has anyone run into this problem( excel will not open XLSX files on double
click) the icon has changed into blank page with the excel ion in the middle
of the page, i can open the file from excel ie: start/ Open/file path. any
ideas?

I am not sure what you need. Where is the file you are trying to open?
Is it a shortcut on your desktop? If so, right click it, go t
properties and check the location to see if it is correct.
