Excell can't run on an Intel Mac - Help

I recently went to use Microsoft Office 2004-Excel on my Intel Mac at
my office and received the following message "You cannot open the
application "Microsoft Excel" because it is not supported on this
architecture." I get a similar message for Entourage. Both Word and
Powerpoint seem to be working fine.

Has anyone seen this?? How can it be corrected? I get the feeling it
may have to do with my computer because I have not experienced it on
another Intel Mac that I have.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

This is the first I've heard of this but I suggest you ask on the Excel
and/or Entourage newsgroups:

Microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
Microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage
