Hi,
I have a Win2K server with Exchange 2000. I have many clients using Remote
Mail in OL2003. When they are off-site, they connect to the Exchange server
via a VPN connection and open Outlook 2003 and select 'Work Offline'. This
is configured so that when a user does a send/receive, only the message
headers get downloaded. They can then select the message headers they want
to download and then they do another send/receive to download those e-mails
in full.
The problem that we're getting is that when a user deletes a e-mail which
has been downloaded it gets moved to the deleted items folder, so the next
time a send/receive is done the e-mail gets downloaded again into the Inbox,
then the e-mail can be marked for deletion from the server.
Has anyone else had the problem of this? Or does anyone know how we could
get around this?
Any replies greatly appreciated.
Regards,
