Exchange 2003 & Outlook 2003

I want to be able to store the emails on a clients computer and remove them
from the exchange server.

I know about offline folders and cached mode but from what I understand it
still leaves a copy on the exchange server.

Is there a way to do what I am requesting?

Aloha IndigoSeth,

Yes, you can set the default storage location to be a Personal Folders File
(.PST). There are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't do that, however.

First of all Thanks for the timly reply it is appreciated, and we are trying
to save space on our sever.

I am aware of the security risk of unauthorised access as well as loss of
data because it is more difficult to back up. can you think of somthing i am
missing?
