There used to be a document which outlined how to set up a Resource Mailbox -
calendar for a conference room for Exchange 2000/2003. I've spent an hour
doing various searches and cannot seem to find it. In typical MS fashion,
searches pull up lots of information on Exchange 2007 and/or the Auto Accept
Agent, which I don't want to deal with, but it's like the "old" method has
been cleansed from the books.
I am particular interested in the configuration for Default permissions on
the calendar in Outlook (Tools » Options » Calendar Options » Resource
Scheduling » Set Permissions » Permissions). I want to know what is actually
required, recommended, best practices, etc. for users to be able to
successfully include the resource on their meeting request.
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of the document which
outlines the old procedure?
