exchange calendar merge with local calendar

Hey guys,

So I am a new mac person and have been researching like crazy, but I have not been able to find an answer to this.

I have an iPhone that I have synced with iCal which is in turn synced with my local entourage 2008 calendar. Works fine.

I have just joined a company that uses MS Exchange. Got that set up fine.

But now I have two calendars in entourage and am only allowed to select one to sync with ical.

What I would like to do is accept meeting requests (from exchange) into my local calendar. Or find some other way to combine both calendars within entourage (so they are synced with my phone.)

Is there any sort of Thing that would allow me to do so? Even a cron job or something that would move/copy over appointments from exchange to the local account.

Could someone please lend me a hand?

I was facing the same issue. I ended up moving all of the calendar information to Entourage, deleting what was in iCal, doing the sync (make sure you set it to use Entourage and delete iCal). It took a few times to get it right, but I had the .mac sync on as well that caused other issues with duplicates in the calendar. Do it one step at a time. When you sync the Touch or iPhone make sure you use the same method of erasing the iPhone with the new data, otherwise you start all over again.

Create a custom view in Entourage to display all your local events.
Then, from this list, you can select all events and use the Move To
command (from the menus or the contextual menus) to move them all to the
Exchange calendar,
