"Exchange Client Extension" support in outlook 2007

Hello,

I do have an old "Exchange client Extension" that was working fine with outlook 97/98/2000/2003.
(There are the old ones that register in [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\exchange\client\extensions])

I was thinking they were deprecated in Outlook 2007, but they still work !

Does anyone does it these are still really supported and for how long ?

They work in Outlook 2007 but are being deprecated. They are not expected to
work at all in versions later than Outlook 2007.
