Exchange Contacts in Entourage

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: Exchange

I recently switch from IMAP to exchange within Entourage. The switch was due to shortcomings in IMAP for Contact and Calendar sync.

I recently deleted the Address Book under "On My Computer" and found that the Contacts in the exchange folder did not contain correct email addresses. Exchange places email addresses as "first last ([email protected])". The email address in the Contacts folder only contains the first last. No email address. Also, all of the email is classified as other.

Is there a filter setup to have the fields correctly translated?
Is there a way to tell Entourage when I right click an email address in an email that the names are reversed? Entourage always loads the last name into the first and first into the last.

Thanks,
Stuart

I recently deleted the Address Book under "On My Computer" and found

name into the first and first into the last.

Unfortunately, not. Entourage wrongly assumes the first text item of the
display name is the first name and the second is the last name. You'll
need to manually correct each record as you add it or if you have a lot
of contacts already then you could use AppleScript to adjust the fields.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this corrected in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.
