Exchange/Entourage and Conflict Folder

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: Exchange

Finally got the t5wo to talk to each other sort of. Now 90% of my mail, SPAM and junk mail is all in a folder entitled 'conflict'. The rules on the exchange server keep all of this sorted fine on a PC machine with Outlook. Entourage places it all a sing heap so that nothing can be found easily.

Any suggestions?

Thanks...Jim

This is a feature of Exchange. I'm assuming you're seeing this folder by
selecting your Exchange account in Entourage's folder list on the left
and then viewing its sub-folders on the right under "Sync
Issues/Conflicts", correct?

I suggest selecting Entourage --> Switch Identity... and turning off
spam protection under Tools --> Junk E-mail Protection... Then set up
your Exchange account again and let it sync. If you find messages are
still going into the Conflicts folder then test a few brand new
messages. If they appear in the correct place then drag a few messages
from the "Sync Issues/Conflict" folder back in place. Wait for Entourage
to sync with Exchange. If they don't move then keep moving more messages
out of the "Sync Issues/Conflicts" folder until everything is in place.

Hope this helps!
