Exchange inbox will not update

Sent items are current and update properly
Deleted items are current and update properly
Junk mail is current and updates properly
INBOX has not updated in a week
All current updates are installed
The problem began about the time the updates were installed

This is Entourage 2008
It has worked fine for months, inside and outside the network
Mac Mail works fine on the machine
I have googled everything I can think of
Any ideas?

Control-click the Inbox in your folder list and choose Folder Properties >
Empty Cache.

This started happening to me as well around 10:30 AM on Nov. 10th.

I'm using Entourage 2008, and all of a sudden stopped receiving mail
in my Inbox.
I can send mail, and am getting message on a web client, so I know the
email system is working.

Am currently trying to clear the cache, but it seem to be choking the
system and nothing is happening.

Any help appreciated!

One of our users was having the exact same problem starting this morning as well!

After trying several things (restarting, repairing DB, flushing the cache, installing latest Office 2008 patches, etc.) our IT consultants suggested the following, which worked:

- In Entourage, select Work Offline from the Entourage menu
- Repeat

This will set you to work offline and then back online again. As silly as this sounds, this solved the problem for our user.

we have the same problem with one of the user:
Emails Deleted in Entourage (inbox) Are Not Deleted on the Exchange Server
as we can see them thru outlook and owa.
Any ideas??????

Control-click the Deleted Items folder and choose Synchronize Now. Then do
you see it?

thanks adam, i have asked our user to try to delete the cache and bring
entourage offline and then online and it has worked. inbox is getting updated
but there is a little delay which user is not sure if this was the behaviour
earlier.
