Exchange not allowing folders to open in Outlook 07

I currently have a single user in the company network that has an issue. We
are running Exchange 07, and the user is running Outlook SBE 07. When the
user tries to access a single labeled folder that has been created in the
Inbox, we get a message stating that the amount of items opened has exceeded
the allowed limit. This happens on random folders, and if you try back later
to open the same folder it will let you. I thought this was an Outlook issue
because they where running Outlook SBE 03, and I uninstalled that version and
upgraded them to 07. This did resolve the issue for a short time, but, alas,
it has returned. So I am at a loss. Also this user is the only user using a
program called White Smoke ver: 1.00.6014. The user relies on this program
and we are having issues finding the program disk, so would like to avoid
removing this if possible.
