Exchange not receiving new mail in my inbox

J

John Harrison

My exchange account warned me yesterday that my account was approaching it
size limit due to too much email in my folders. I deleted much of the email
including
sent items etc. I am receiving email on my mobile device, web mail etc but
not inbox
in Entourage. Strangely some of my subfolders that get mail directly to them
via message
rules are getting new messages but none of my inbox new messages which are
the most important ones.

FYI I tried synchronizing and that did nothing to help this.

Please advise asap.

Thanks,
John

Hi John!

If you see this in just one or a handful of folders then right-click or
Control-click that folder, select Folder Properties and click the Empty
button to empty the cache. You can also select the account itself and
empty the cache for all of your folders.

Hope this helps!
