Exchange Over Internet

One of my systems is completely missing the section containing this option
in the following location:

Tools menu, click E-mail accounts, select View or change existing e-mail
accounts, click Next, select the Exchange e-mail account, and then click
Change.

Click More Settings, then click the Connection tab.

I can't find anything on google or support.ms.com on this. Anyone seen
this??

In order to establish a RPC over HTTP connection, the client must be running
a minimum of Outlook 2003 on Windows XP (SP1) + patch KB 331320.

Are you saying Outlook is hiding the functionality - until the patch is
applied? This would be a new one for me. The patch addresses some
performance issues.

managed to fix this with regedit edit.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Offiec/11.0/RPC/IEnableRPCtunnelingUI

Value should =1 for some reason it was set to 2 on my systems

I actually have the same problem. Patch 331320 will replace "Rpcrt4.dll" with
version 5.1.2600.1142 of the same file. I have version 5.1.2600.1361, so I
need not apply this patch.

Furthermore, I do not have the particular key
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Offiec/11.0/RPC/IEnableRPCtunnelingUI)in the registry.

What could be the problem?
