Exchange Send & Receiver

Hi,

I am using outlook with an exchange server in corporate mode. I was
wondering where I can set how often a send & receive takes place. Is this
done at the exchange server or locally? I would like to be able to only send
messages in the outbox when i tell it to. Is this possible?
