exchange server resets my incoming mail server settings

I use Outlook 2003 to handle email from MS Exchange Server and a POP mail
account (Yahoo). On the POP3 account Exchange Server keeps resetting the
"incoming mail server" to "localhost" and adding ".../pop.mail.yahoo.com" to
the "user name" field.

It will not work at all until I go in a reset it properly and then only
stays working for a couple of cycles before it reverts to the wrong settings.

How can I keep it set properly?

I don't think it's Exchange that's doing that. If I had to guess I'd bet
you're using Norton Internet Security (or something similiar) and it's
making that change.

We use Trend Micro, is there a setting to look for or a way to check?

You might try temporarily disabling the e-mail scanning feature and see if
the problem goes away. If it does then you know that Trend is the problem.
