Exchange Substitute Recommendations?

GTS

I'm looking into Exchange substitutes for a client (the domain server runs
Linux). We want to provide calendar sharing for 3 or 4 management
employees. There are quite a few possible solutions including many I saw
listed at http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/scheduleall.htm
Office Calendar at http://www.officecalendar.com looks particularly good so
far and has a free trial that I will probably test

I am very interested in recommendations and feedback from anyone who may
actually be using this or one of the other Exchange substitutes.

Thanks.

To get the best range of opinions, I would post this to
microsoft.public.exchange.admin.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, GTS asked:
