Exchange2003 - Lotus Notes coexistence

Hi,
I'm planning the migration from Exch5.5 to Exch2003, at this time
co-existence with lotus notes R5 is done by MS LotusNotes Connector.
This interoperability must be kept in Exc2003 as well, related to this I've
seen that with Exch2003 SP1 NotesConenctor is supported only with domino R6
and not with R5, although in other articles
(http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/features/) is reported also
Domino R5
Anyone has more info or experience about this ??
