ExchangePerflogs_ in %TEMP%

I was clearing up some temps files in a users local drive and noticed in
C:\DICYNE~1\user~1\LOCALS~1\Temp that there are numerous
ExchangePerflog_8484fa31cd5d51f94e...dat files.
We have users currently set up with an Exchange 2003 account and using
Outlook 2003 w/XP SP3.

I have not see this on any other workstation; tried moving them all into one
folder but with the amount of time I had I couldn't move them all because
there was just too many.

What are these files and how do I prevent these logs from accumulating in
the temp folder?

If you run CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) on a regular basis, it
will keep your temp files clean.
