Exclude replies from filters

I have struggled when putting together filters when I want to exclude
messages in the form of "RE: [subject]". Although in general I like that
Outlook seems to ignore the FW and RE: prefixes when sorting/filtering. I
can't seem to figure out how to construct a filter that retrieves [subject]
but not "RE: [subject]". Any ideas? Is there another field to search on
that would let me screen the RE: prefix?

Any rule that would detect "[subject]" will also detect "RE: [subject]".
Try using the "with specific words in the header and include the RE in the
rule's condition, inverting the logic.

earlier. thanks.
