is it possible to install an access application on a machine that does not have access.
Like using a program compile from VB as an EXE.
can I save my access application as an exe.

You cannot save your application as an exe, but if you buy the developer's
edition, you also get a license to distribute and install a runtime version
of the Access executable. There are many limitations to the runtime which
make it impossible to use it to design forms, etc., but very few
applications require that the user design forms and reports or write any
code.
