Hi!

Is it possible to make a stand-alone, executable file from an Access
application?

No, it is not. In order to distribute an Access application to users who
do not have a copy of MS Access installed on their computers, you would need
to own the Developer's Edition of your particular version of MS Office and
use it to create a Runtime Installation using the Developer's Edition of
your copy of MS Office.
