Executive Dashboards

I am looking for any information on/or examples of a "digital dashboard". I've searched MS's site and have learned only that a "dashboard" view is possible through Project 2003 Pro Server. There are no published examples that I'm aware of and no hints as to what's involved to create. I would greatly appreciate any information..

Thanks!

That is a very broad question.

It really depends on what type of information you wish to display.

If you are seeking only project information, your best bet is to create a
view that includes the fields (or graphical indicators) that you wish to
display.

If you wish to incorporate a broader range of corporate information you
should look into SharePoint web parts. The Issues, Risks, and Documents in
PS 2003 are hosted in Windows SharePoint Services. Creating a web part to
read project information and display it in a web part page is not dificult,
(Well not as hard as teaching an exec what it all means! =

There are lots of web part examples, but start with the WebPart SDK on the
MS site.

Cheers,

Matthew
