When I try to do a sum (auto or manual formula) my Excel 97 shows a
zero value (when I can get it to show a value - that is a problem
also). Formula =sum(B1:B16). The dialog box where you can choose
the cells needed always shows a 0 for the value and then when I
accept, the cell where I want the answer just shows the formula. I
have the formula box in options unchecked. I have cleared my
worksheet of all formatting. My entries have blank cells between
them, but I don't think that should matter. I've tried selecting just
the cells with numbers also. Still no go. Any advice will be
appreciated. TIA
