Exel will not open. Worked this morning. Now it won't work.

I worked in Excel one morning about a week ago. That evening, it would not
open. Still won't open. Word now works and PowerPoint. I downloaded the
update for Office and it still does not work. I've tried re-installing,
restarting...nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? It really doesn't matter
if I lose what's in there because I have it saved elsewhere that I can get to
it. HELP!
