exit word, error message, then automatic restart

I have windows vista. Whenever i exit microsoft word 2007, an error box pops
up and one of two things happen, either it will decide to restart word, or it
tells me it is shutting word down. No other problems seem to be associated
with this problem, though it is just a pain whenever you exit word and then
you have to exit word again because it just restarted. Thank you for any
help!

I have the same problem and yes I have an HP Photosmart C5180

Whenever I close Word 2007 an error message appears saying an error caused
word to close, and then it restarts word. Closing the newly open doc works
fine, but it is a pain.

It is the HP printer driver. The temporary workaround it to set a different
printer as the Windows Default until you need to actually print. The
long-term solution is to check to see if HP has updated its driver yet, if
not, throw it away and get a Canon!
