exit word/excel/ppt from the addin

I am developing an add-in for the office products mentioned above.

I am not sure on how to end the applications using c#.

Nice if you have any hints for me on that subject

Usually, you wouldn't end an application from within an Add-in. All
these applications have a Quit method, but you may run into
conflicts executing the method from within an Add-in...

What's the purpose of your add-in and why would you want to end the
application from within it?
