Expanding Distribution Lists

I am unable to expand my Distribution Lists. No "plus" sign shows up to the
left of the distribution list name when entered in my "to" field of a new
message. I have Microsoft Office version 2003.

That's a symptom of a corrupt list. How did you create these DL's and did
they ever work as they should?
