Expanding Headings

I have seen documents that when you click on a headng (or
even a work on a paragraph) that it expands with a more
details. I believe that this is done with bullets somehow
but I cannot figure out how to do it.

I would like to do a list in email that when you click on
each one I can have a sublist or a discription.

For Example:

i. Heading / Title #1
ii. Heading / Title #2

When you click on "i. Heading / Title #1" it looks like
this:

i. Heading / Title #1
The Quick Brown Fox
The Slow Green Turtle
ii. Heading / Title #2

- or if you clicked on "ii. Heading / Title #2"

i. Heading / Title #1
ii. Heading / Title #2
We need to buy more milk for whateve reason.

Make sense - Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Chris

Let me guess: do you work in an environment where you use Lotus Notes for
email? Lotus Notes has this capability, but Word does not. So if you're
using Notes for email, then you would have to do this in a new email. Memory
says that Lotus calls this a "section" (which is an entirely different
concept from a Word section). So search in Notes' help for "section" to see
how to do it. (It's very easy!).

However, if you're not using Notes, then there's no easy way to do this in
Word. The closest Word comes is Outline View, or the Document Map.

To use the Document Map you *must* set up your document using appropriate
styles, and preferably the built-in heading styles. Then do View > Document
Map. To use Outline View, see
How to save yourself hours by using Outline View properly

Hope this helps.
