Expanding Menus Link to Page from Top Link

I am using Front page to do expanding menus. When I click on a main topic I
want to show a page in the target frame as well as show the expanding menu.
Right now all that it does is create a link to the nav_page that shows the
expanded menu.

Topic1 ---> I want to link to a page summarizing Topic1 in addition to
expanding.
Topic1a
Topic1b
Topic2

Currently it only expands the menu and I have to make links to the Topic1a,
b pages to get anything to show up in the target frame.

I have done this before using a JAva script in another program. Is there a
simple way to do this in Frontpage?

No, you will have to use the JavaScript that you used in the past.
