I have Office Pro 2003 Beta and it has expired. Can I use the 2003 upgrade package or do I have to buy the entire software package from scratch?

Do you have any of the qualifying products for the Office 2003 upgrade? If
not, then you will need to purchase the full version.

See this page for what is a qualifying product for the upgrade version of
Office 2003 Professional:

I have Office XP Pro. Do I uninstall the 2003 Beta and reinstall XP and then upgrade to 2003? If I uninstalled 2003 Beta and reinstall XP will my Outlook contact list be vaporized

No, you do not have to remove the beta. During the process of upgrading,
you will be asked to show your Office XP cd, and once that is done, the
installation will offer to uninstall the beta and then install itself.
