Explorer.exe -Application Error

Hello. We are trying to remove Office 2003 standard and install Office 2003
Professional and getting errors.

Explorer.exe -Application Error

The instruction at "0x0098737e" referenced at "0x0007fffc" the memory could
not be read.

I posted accidentally in the "Outlook" group first so this is a second post.

Is there any sort of cleaner program for XP / O2003 available?
Please tell me how to get a clean install.

Thank You

Hi Dirving,

You mentioned both 'clean install' and 'remove' two different editions of Office 2003. Can you explain a bit more about your
scenario, your goal and the methods/steps you're using along with the version of Windows?

Can you run a Repair/Replace successfully from the Microsoft Office 2003 listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control
panel?

Do you have all other apps/utilities/antivirus shut down when running setup?

Was Outlook 2003 client installed separately (before) Office 2003?

Thank you for the response. We have discovered that the option "HTML Source
Editing" was causing the error. Without selecting this all is fine.
