Explorer Shell Send to Mail Recipient

Greetings,

How do I confiure Outlook XP to send mail from the explorer shell
right-click ->send to mail recipient. It just shows up in the Outbox until
I open Outlook. If I use Outlook Express, it sends immediately. I can just
leave OE as my mail application via Internet Explorer, but I want to avoid
storing sent mail in two different applications, if possible.

PS. I access the internet via lan gateway exclusively.
