export a report to an Excel template

Hi,

I have desinged an access database for travelling expenses statement. Based
on the statement Id, I open a report. After the report is opened, i have to
do some more calculations based on the total report. I want to export this
report to an excel sheet.

I use a form, subform to enter the data. When i export it to excel using

docmd.RunCommand acCmdOutputToExcel

the contents of the main form only are exported, the subform details are not
exported.

The report shows all the main form and sub form details. Can someone help me
to find a solution to export the whole report please
