Export Access report results to Excel

When I export my Access report to Excel all I get in excel are references (Text #47, Data#5) etc... There are several "layers" of Access subreports which support the final report (I didn't create this monster, just trying to use it!). Is it possible to get the results into Excel, or can I only get the subreport results?
