Export Adressbook from Outlook Express into Outlook

I exported all dokuments from OE into Outlook 2000. everithing went fine. But
when I tried to export the OE Adressbook into Ootlook 2000 the system tells
me, that there is no personal adressbook available and therefore the
adressbook can't be transfered. But on the Outlook 2000 side, a adressbook is
there. I could put in adresses. What di I wrong?

Have you tried the import from Outlook instead of exporting from Outlook
Express, alternately export from Outlook Express as a CSV file and then
import that into Outlook. When you say the address book is there in Outlook
are you referring to a PERSONAL ADDRESS BOOK.

You should import from Outlook, not export from Outlook Express.
File > Import and Export > Internet Mail and Addresses

Hi Noel All,

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I was referring to a "Personal Adress Book". Is
there something else, I have to be aware of it?

Hi Thymalius,
No, not really, it just a common misconception that the Address Book command
on the Tools menu or the Address Book Icon on the toolbar is the actual
address book whereas in reality it is only a container that points to all
the different types of address books i.e. Personal Address Book, Contact
folders, GAL, LDAP etc that you can have in Outlook which is why I
emphasised the Personal Address Book because you can have the address book
but it doesn't necessarily contain or point to a Personal Address Book.
